Murder accused dies in hospital

Bathinda, April 23

An accused in the murder case of dancer Sapna, whose beheaded body was found here a few days ago, died at the Civil Hospital on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Poonam, alias Pooja. The jail authorities said on Tuesday morning, her health started getting deteriorated. They said thereafter, she was taken to the civil hospital, where she breathed is last.

She was arrested along with Sukwinder Singh, alias Sukha, and Manpreet, alias Meet.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
