Name removal from BPL list sparks protest

Dharamsala, July 22

Residents of the Sullah constituency, represented Health Minister Vipin Parmar, on Monday staged a protest against the deletion of their names from the BPL list.

The district administration had organised a meeting to finalise the list of BPL families. Many families, including women, reached there and opposed the removal of their names from the list. The protesters also argued with the officials present at the meeting. — TNS
