When asked how come she made rejoined the Congress at the eleventh hour, Singh said, “I was trying to return to the Congress for the past one and a half years but now the time has come. I will support the Congress in Jat-dominated Jhunjhunu district.”
While Khan, who was also vice president of the Minority Morcha and Ex-Chairman of Waqf Board, returned to the Congress party as he was denied a ticket from Deedwana or Pushkar.
Khan will work for the party in Tonk district where Pilot is contesting the poll against the BJP’s sole Muslim candidate Yunus Khan.
