AI to launch red-eye flights on domestic routes

Mumbai: State-owned Air India will launch red-eye flights to some domestic destinations, including Goa, from November 30. A red-eye flight departs generally late at night and arrives early morning. Because of low fares, these flights are quite popular abroad. Air India will introduce daily red-eye flights on sectors like Delhi-Goa, Delhi-Coimbatore and Bengaluru-Ahmedabad. PTI

Pak SC reimposes ban on Indian content

Islamabad: Pakistan’s top court has reintroduced a ban on Indian films and television shows being broadcast on local channels. In 2016, the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority had banned the airing of Indian content on local television and radio channels. However, the Lahore HC lifted the ban in 2017 as the government had no objections on it. PTI

India to get world-class costume museum

Singapore: A 450-year-old house in Goa will be converted into a world-class fashion museum by March 2019 with recognition of the International Committee of Museology. The Moda Goa Museum and Research Centre will be the first costume museum in India based on the history of Goan costumes. PTI
