Appeasement to end, development and nationalism will sustain: UP CM

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said the politics of casteism and appeasement will end while the agenda of development and devotion to the nation would sustain.
He was speaking at the two-day BJP meet which began here.
"Politics of nepotism, casteism and appeasement will end, only politics of development and 'rashtra bhakti' (devotion to the nation) will sustain," Adityanath said.
Apart from top BJP leaders, including the party president Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh state office-bearers and hundreds of delegates are expected to participate in the two-day event.
Adityanath to meet MPs, MLAs every week
Meanwhile, as per an official release, from 4 to 5 pm on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will meet MPs and MLAs to hear problems related to their constituencies.
"The CM will meet MPs every week on Friday between 4-5 pm at secretariat annexe. Legislators can meet him on Monday and Thursday during the same time", an official release issued here said.
The meeting time has been fixed so that the public representatives could inform him about the development related problems and apprise the government of their expectations.
The chief minister requested the public representatives not to bring anyone with them for the meeting. — PTI
