Meerut: Karan Singh from Meerut has bagged the title of being the tallest 8-year-old in the world with a height of 6 feet 6 inches. He had made it to the Guinness Book at the time of his birth as he weighed 7.8 kg and was 63 cm in height. Karan seems to inherit the height from his mother Shweatlana, who also holds the title of being India’s tallest woman at 7 feet 2 inches. ani

Now, ‘aam-biryani’, ‘aam-murg korma’
Lucknow: The mouth-watering biryani synonymous with the City of Nawabs will soon acquire a fruity flavour. ‘Aam biryani’, ‘murg-aam’ and ‘aam-murg korma’ will be among the dishes prepared from mango at a festival being organised by the Tourism Department here from July 7. PTI

End of road for Akhilesh’s cycle tracks

Home-delivery fuel firm hits roadblock

City-based startup Mypetrolpump, which recently started a first-of-its-kind door delivery of diesel, has hit a roadblock, after the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation directed state-run oil marketing companies and private retailers not to sell fuel to it, citing ‘safety’. PTI
