New Delhi, December 25
A police complaint has been filed in Delhi against actor Naseeruddin Shah over his recent remarks that he “felt unsafe in India and feared for the safety of his children”.
Calling the remarks “anti-national”, a social worker, Jitender Singh Shunty, founder of NGO Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal, filed the complaint at Vivek Vihar police station. The SHO said the complaint had been registered and the matter would be discussed with the prosecution wing to ascertain whether an FIR could be lodged.
