Priya Dutt, former Lok Sabha member from Bandra (Mumbai), was sacked as the All India Congress Committee secretary on September 26.
Daughter of late actor and Congress leader Sunil Dutt, Priya on Sunday tweeted a copy of the letter signed by Ashok Gehlot that said she had been relieved of her position.
“I received a letter relieving me of my duties as secretary AICC, I am very thankful and extremely grateful to Mrs Gandhi and Rahulji to have given me this opportunity to serve the party for all these years. I thank all my colleagues in the AICC for their help and guidance,” Dutt tweeted. — TNS
