The Congress on Sunday declared its final list of 18 candidates forming a poll alliance on five seats with RLD, LJD and NCP besides fielding sitting MP of Alwar Dr Karan Singh Yadav on Kishangarh-Bas seat for the December 7 assembly election in Rajasthan.

After violent protests by party workers in Bikaner for the last two days, the CEC has replaced three candidates.

Durru Miyan alias AH Khan, former health minister in Gehlot government, is given ticket on Tijara seat.

Dr Yadav had won the Alwar Lok Sabha bypoll by defeating BJP government’s minister Jaswant Singh Yadav, who is still kept in abeyance from the Alwar assembly seat by the saffron party.

In view of national level alliance, the Congress formed an alliance on Bharatpur and Malpura with Rashtriya Lokdal, in Bali constituency with NCP, and Lok Tantrik Janta Dal in Kushalgarh (ST) and Mundawar seats.

The ruling BJP has so far declared its 170 candidates in the house of 200 MLAs.
