CRPF signs pact with IIM-Rohtak

New Delhi, May 24

To make its trainee officers future-ready, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak, for a certificate programme in business management.

CRPF Director General Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar said the certificate programme would help the trainee officers to equip themselves with the gamut of managerial skills. The managerial value-addition will also help upkeep motivational level of the officers.

IIM-Rohtak Director Dheeraj Sharma said the six-month course had been designed keeping in mind the managerial needs, including emotional intelligence, of the officers.

The course is set to be conducted for the Directly Recruited Gazetted Officers of the CRPF, who are at present undergoing basic training in the CRPF Academy at Kadarpur, Gurugram.
