The Mithila University today cancelled examination at Samastipur Women College after visuals of rampant cheating during BA-II examination were aired by television channels.

“The June 12 examination of general knowledge paper of BA-II at Samastipur Women College has been cancelled by the university and fresh examination of the paper will be held at Darbhanga on June 29,” Ajit Kumar Singh, Registrar, said.

He said the decision to cancel the paper was taken at a meeting called by Vice-Chancellor Saket Kushwaha last night. — PTI
