Former Arunachal CM Kalikho Pul found dead, probe ordered

New Delhi, August 9

Former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Kalikho Pul was found dead on Tuesday in a case police suspect to be that of suicide.

Pul, 47, was found hanging from a ceiling fan of his bedroom at the chief minister's official residence that he had still to vacate by one of his three wives.

The circumstances of his death are still unclear. Doctors say Pul died between 7 and 7:30 am.

His family said he had met no outsiders in the past seven days.
