HC disposes of Nalini’s petition for pre-mature release

CHENNAI: The Madras High Court on Wednesday declined to entertain a plea by Rajiv Gandhi assassination case convict Nalini Sriharan seeking premature release saying it cannot grant her request in view of pendency of a related matter before the Supreme Court

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
