The North Western Railway on Friday announced the cancellation of the Thar Express, an international train to Pakistan from Jodhpur to Munabao and Munabao to zero point, till further order.

The train number 14889/14890 which leaves from Bhagat ki Kothi railway station in Jodhpur to Munabao (to and fro), and train number 00406/00405 from Munabao to zero point (to and fro) have been cancelled in compliance with the Railway order, an NWR CPRO Abhay Sharma said in a statement here.

No specific reason is mentioned in the order. 

The train was scheduled to leave in the intervening night of Friday and Saturday at 1 am and there were 45 bookings made by passengers, a senior PRO of NWR in Jodhpur, Gopal Sharma, told The Tribune.
