Jaipur: A Mumbai-Jodhpur Jet Airways flight, 9W 412, on Friday suffered a bird hit before landing with 162 passengers and crew members on board at the Jodhpur Airport around 1 pm. Director GK Khare said a bird had hit and entered the left side of the engine, causing technical trouble while approaching the 'funnel area'. He said the incident took place around 10-15 km away from Jodhpur around 12:50 pm, forcing the pilot to abort the landing. He took two extra rounds and landed safely at the airport. OC
