Rajasthan Drug Controller office on Sunday ordered withdrawal of some Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo stocks after they failed quality test.

The samples they tested were from Solan's Baddi plant.

Johnson & Johnson has been facing trouble globally with regulators as well as customers over the quality of its products, such as its baby talcum powder and some medical devices like hip implants.The Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) pulled up the pharma company after its talc failed quality test in December 2018. The company was recently asked to pay a patient Rs 75 lakh for faulty J&J hip implants.
