Kannada TV actress killed in road mishap

Chennai, May 5

Kannada TV actress Rekha Sindhu (22) died in a road accident today near Vellore in Tamil Nadu, the police said.

The accident happened on the Chennai-Bengaluru highway around 2.30 am, a police official told the media here.

“She was travelling to Chennai for an ad shoot. There were six people in the car, including Rekha. The vehicle lost control and hit the median,” he said.

Rekha, a resident of Bengaluru, died instantly while others were injured. — IANS
