Kareena’s I-T account hacker arrested

Mumbai: Manish Kumar, 26, an employee of the CRPF has been arrested for hacking into actress Kareena Kapoor’s Income Tax account and filing bogus returns in her name, police said on Tuesday. Investigators from the cyber crime cell picked up Kumar from a CRPF camp in North India and brought him to Mumbai recently. He was produced before a court which granted him bail. Officials said Kumar picked up computer skills during his posting at an Income Tax Department office. After helping his colleagues file their I-T returns online, he reportedly found ways to tweak the system using online hacking software. TNS
