A sessions court in Mumbai has adjourned the hearing in the Keenan-Reuben murder case, in which two men were killed for having attempted to stop harassment of some women.

Keenan Santos, 24, and Reuben Fernandez, 29, were repeatedly stabbed outside an eating joint in Mumbai’s Amboli on October 20, 2011, when they tried to protect some female friends from being harassed by a group of men.

Four suspects— Jitendra Rana, Sunil Bodh, Satish Dulhaj and Dipak Tival — were arrested the next day and a fast-track court had framed charges for murder, conspiracy and molestation in October. — ANI
