Lalu’s son to marry ex-CM’s granddaughter
Patna: RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s elder son and former Bihar Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav is likely to tie the knot with Aishwarya Rai, granddaughter of former Bihar CM Daroga Prasad Rai, next month. “The ring ceremony is expected to take place on April 18 and the wedding on May 12,” said a close confidante of Lalu family. Tej Pratap, who left Patna to see his ailing father in Delhi, said: “My happiness lies in the happiness of my parents. If my parents are happy with the marriage, we are happy too. Now all the speculation about my marriage that was rife in media has now come to an end.” TNS
3 in 5 Indians ‘use phone while driving’
New Delhi: Three in every five Indians admitted using mobile phones while driving. North India with 62 per cent leads as compared to South with 52 per cent, according to a Nissan Connected Families of India survey. It pointed out that a large percentage of women respondents (nearly 64 per cent) trusted their spouse when it came to driving, as against 37 per cent of men who could say the same. IANS
