Man shouts ‘Vande Mataram’ at Cong presser
New Delhi, May 15
An unknown person today interrupted a Congress press conference called to condemn yesterday’s attack on the convoy of UP Congress MLA Aditi Singh and started raising “Vande Mataram” slogan.
The person objected to the use of the terminology “Ajay Singh Bisht-led UP government” instead of Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government by Congress spokesman Pawan Khera who was addressing reporters. The person who was later whisked away said calling Yogi Ajay Bisht was an insult to the religious feelings of locals. After the matter settled, Khera demanded action against the BJP government in UP for the attack on the convoy of Aditi Singh. — TNS
