Notice to IIT-Delhi hostel girls to dress in ‘decent clothes’ on house day

New Delhi, April 18

A notice was put up at Hiamadri Hostel of the Indian Institute for Technology (IIT) in Delhi asking girls to come "fully dressed" on house day.

The notice was signed by hostel’s warden, which asked its “residents to wear full covered decent western or Indian dresses” on the house day.

The house day is scheduled for April 20.

The notice was also shared on the facebook page of Pinjra Tod, a women body fighting against regressive hostel rules and regulations. —ANI
