PMO gets five new officers, including Joint Secretary

New Delhi: In a series of late-night decisions, the government on Friday inducted five officers, including a Joint Secretary, three Deputy Secretaries and a Director in the Prime Minister’s Office, according to orders issued by the DoPT. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet inducted IAS 1994-batch Karnataka cadre’s Arvind Shrivastava and 2010-batch Gujarat cadre’s Hardik Satishchandra Shah 

as Joint Secretary and Deputy Secretary, respectively. The committee also cleared the appointment of Abhishek Shukla and Pratik Mathur, both Indian Foreign Service officers of the 2006 and 2007 batches, respectively, as Deputy Secretaries and Saurabh Shukla, Indian Audit and Accounts Service (2005 batch), as Director in the top office, separate government orders said.
