Chandigarh: Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan says his share of earning from his upcoming film “MSG The Warrior: Lion Heart” would be donated for plant stem cell and tissue culture research. The film’s trailer was launched with much fanfare at Shah Satnam ji Dham at Sirsa on Friday. Gurmeet entered the world of entertainment in 2015 with the controversial “MSG The Messenger”. “MSG The Warrior” is about a medieval warrior who fights aliens from outer space, to protect the dignity of womenfolk and his motherland. The film releases on October 7. — IANS

Uber, Ola start services for govt officers 

New Delhi: Cab aggregators Uber and Ola are breaking new ground as they have started providing taxi services to government departments at special rates. They have registered at the portal of government e-marketplace (GeM), launched last month for buying goods and services by central ministries and departments. The government expects to save huge money as currently departments shell out as much as Rs 40,000 for one taxi per month. — PTI
