Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati today demanded immediate removal of Union Minister VK Singh for his “dog remark” in connection with the Faridabad burning incident.

Hitting out at Singh for what she described as “petty and low mentality towards Dalits”, Mayawati urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to sack him and send him to jail for expressing such views about Dalits.

Singh had yesterday said the government could not be held responsible if somebody stoned a dog.

Not sparing Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar either, Mayawati charged the Haryana BJP government of being “insensitive” towards Dalits. Terming the killing of two Dalit children as shameful, the BSP supremo said it was more shocking as it happened despite police security.
