The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday refused to entertain a PIL for a court directive for bringing underworld don Dawood Ibrahim to India and make him face trial for various terror attacks.
A Bench headed by Chief Justice HL Dattu dismissed the petition, observing it had no role in this.
The petitioner Kishore Samrite's counsel pleaded that the governments in the past and present had not made serious efforts to have the most wanted terrorist extradited.
At least, there should be a probe into the seriousness of the governments, he said.
But the Bench was not convinced. It's other members are Justices Arun Mishra and Amitava Roy.
