Nashik/Mumbai, June 16
Maharashtra’s Anti-Corruption Bureau is currently conducting searches on various properties of the NCP leader and former state PWD minister Chhagan Bhujbal and his family members in Nashik and Mumbai on Tuesday.
These include 'Bhujbal Farm' and houses, his offices in Nashik, Manmad and his assembly constituency Yewla. Properties
belonging to the leader’s son, NCP MLA Pankaj Bhujbal is also being searched , said AJ More, deputy superintendent of police, Nashik ACB.
In Mumbai, the bureau is conducting searches at the office of Mumbai Education Trust in Bandra, which is controlled by Bhujbal family, among other places.
Searches began at 9.30 am, he said.
The ACB had registered two FIRs— one of which pertains to corruption in the construction of Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi — against Bhujbal earlier this month. PTI
