Second Tihar jailbreak inmate caught from UP
New Delhi, June 30
Two days after escaping from the high-security Tihar Jail, the second undertrial was today arrested from Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh.
Javed (18) had escaped from the jail with another undertrail Faizan on June 27.
However, soon after coming out of the prison, Faizan developed a cold feet and did not go with Javed who managed to flee.
Javed was arrested by a joint team of the Delhi Police and Tihar security officials.
According to sources in Tihar, after escaping Javed called up his relatives in UP and informed them that he was coming home.
The Delhi Police tracked Javed as they had put the phone numbers of his relatives under surveillance. By the time Javed reached his village at Gonda, a police team had reached there and laid a trap. — TNS
