Shotgun: Why is everybody ''khamosh''
New Delhi, November 12
Talking about the political scenario in the country, actor-cum-BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha today said people had become silent spectators to every-day incidents. The 71-year-old veteran actor, famous for his "khamosh" dialogue, was speaking at a Sahitya AajTak session.
"Now it seems that we all have become silent. There is silence in the country's atmosphere," Sinha said during his conversation with former journalist and writer Bharti Pradhan about his biography "Anything But Khamosh".
Sinha said, "I gave the first copy of my book to President Ram Nath Kovind. (But) couldn't give it to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as it didn't come out by the time I last met him." He revealed he hade made his foray into politics on the advise of senior BJP leader LK Advani.
"My mantra to the young generation is to prove yourself that you are the best. If not, then prove that you are the most different," he added. PTI
