Kanishak Kataria (26), a Dalit resident of Jaipur, is a graduate in computer science from IIT Bombay. Inspired by his father Sanwarmal, a serving IAS officer in the state capital, Kanishak had left jobs in multinational companies in the USA and South Korea and returned to fulfil his parents’ dreams and serve society.

When asked about the biggest challenge that he was going to face, Kanishak told mediapersons that he does not see India facing any major international challenge.

“It’s all thanks to our robust foreign policy. We all need to understand the power of collaborative effort. If we Indians follow some basics like not littering on the roads or public places, half of the problems related to health would disappear,” said Kanishak at his home in Chitrakoot locality.

Akshat Jain (23), an engineering student from IIT Guwahati, got the All-India second rank and has set a benchmark for students of his age by cracking the prestigious examination. He is the son of DC Jain, a Rajasthan cadre senior IPS officer who is presently with the CBI.
