Video shows trainer push collage girl during mock drill, dies
Coimbatore, July 13
A girl on Thursday died after she was allegedly forced to jump from the second floor of the college building during a disaster management mock drill, organised by the National Disaster Management Authority of India in Coimbatore.
A resident of Nathegoundenpudur area, the 19-year-old, N Logeswari, was a second-year student of Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science.
The video of the incident was shot by her classmate, which showed that Logeswari was not keen on jumping and was pushed by her trainer from behind.
Logeswari hit her head on the first floor sunshade room and had severe injuries on her neck. She was immediately taken to the Coimbatore Medical Hospital (CMCH) and was declared that brought dead.
A case has been registered.
