Lucknow, October 26
Newly installed Hindu Samaj party chief Kiran Tiwari urged the Uttar Pradesh Government to hand over the murder accused of her husband Kamlesh Tiwari to her if they could not be hanged straight away.
She was speaking to reporters soon after taking charge of the right wing fringe outfit founded by her husband who was murdered at his office-cum residence at Khurshid Bagh on October 18.
She charged the CM Yogi government with compromising on the security of her husband due to which he was brutally murdered. According to her, the family’s request for a NIA probe was also turned down.
Charging the CM Yogi government of insulting her husband by paying his family Rs 15 lakh to keep quiet, Kiran said she had not begged the BJP government for the money. “Their cheque is still there. If there is a terrorist attack on any BJP leader I will pay Rs 30 lakh from my side”, she said.
She said instead of extending hospitality to the arrested accused in the state’s jails they should be hanged immediately. — TNS
