Actor Poonam Dhillon adds lustre to musical bonanza

City-bred Bollywood actress Poonam Dhillon enlivened the annual musical bonanza organised by the Vibrations, an NGO, in collaboration with the Department of Culture Affairs, Haryana and Chandigarh, at Tagore Theatre here today.

The chief guests were Haryana Governor Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki, Poonam Dhillon, actor Raja Bundela, Anurag Aggarwal (IAS officer), Amit Aggarwal (IAS officer).

While Professor Solanki lauded the activities of the NGO, Dhillon shared her growth as a Bolloywood star. Meanwhile, Dr Gurdeep Singh from the PGI gave an educative talk on breast cancer before the singers took the stage.

A mesmerising performance came from Pawan Chopra, father of actress Parineeti Chopra. Sanjeev Kalra (ADGP Punjab), Dipesh Rahi Krishna Sawre, Komal Vashisht, Jagan Bains, Naresh Jacob, Sarbjeet Bhasin and Captain Kaptan Singh Solanki’s son Rajesh Solanki were among other performers. — OC
