A number of competitions, including cooking complementary foods for infants, presentations, poster making and quiz were organised by the Department of Home Science at St Bede's College, Shimla, during the breastfeeding awareness week celebrations from August 1 to 7. Dr Amit Sachdev from the Department of Community Medicine, IGMC, along with his team gave a presentation on different aspects of mother’s milk and a quiz competition was conducted by Dr Anjali Dewan for the students of nutrition and health education.
