Actor Shahid Kapoor’s Twitter and Instagram handles appeared to be hacked on Thursday by some Turkish hackers.
The hackers pinned a tweet to his timeline suggesting that the portrayal of Alauddin Khilji in the movie Padmaavat as a barbaric and dishonest ruler wasn’t accurate.
“Raja Alaaddin Khilji aise barbar, janwar aur harami aadmi nahi thi jaise aap ko dikhai di! (sic),” the message read on Twitter.
The tweet was signed by Ayyildiz Tim with a Turkish flag next to it.
In another tweet, the hackers reportedly sent a message to India and Pakistan to help Turkey become a tourist destination and tagged a Facebook page “Turkey Holiday Tourism”.
“India aur Turkey Paryatan Ki Dosti Ke Liye Please Facebook Page Pe Sahara Bano. Turkey mein sahara wala paryatan kendra!”
The hackers also reportedly professed their love for Katrina Kaif with a tweet saying, “I love you Katrina Kaif.”
