Subhashini Ali releases CPM manifesto

Senior Communist leader and All-India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) vice-president Subhashini Ali Sehgal came to Rohtak today and released the CPM’s manifesto for the mayoral election.
The local unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has extended support to the CPM nominee for the post of Rohtak Mayor Dr Jagmati Sangwan.
Maharaj Singh, the district president of AAP, accompanied Sangwan on her road show. CPM leader and former Shimla Mayor Tikendar Panwar was also present.
Sangwan’s husband and former CPM state secretary Inderjit claimed that Swaraj Abhiyan leader Yogendra Yadav had also backed her and they were also expecting support from the newly launched political outfit of Dushyant Chautala.
The manifesto stipulates a strategic approach towards building a positive and healthy civic environment comprising social amity, public health, hygiene, education, clean and adequate drinking water and development of the neglected outer colonies and villages under the corporation.
