Patiala, June 3
Iqbal Singh Dhaliwal, Additional Superintendent Jail-cum-Deputy Superintendent (Maintenance), Central Jail, Ludhiana, was awarded the Director General of Prisons Commendation Disc for meritorious service by Punjab Jail Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and Additional Director General of Prisons Rohit Chaudhary at the passing-out parade ceremony of 250 newly recruited warders in the department here today.
The ceremony was held at Punjab Jail Training School, Patiala. He was awarded the disc for improving the overall management of the prison. This disc has also been awarded in recognition of his consistent outstanding service to the Prison Department. — TNS
