Punjab Police has asked netizens to be good drivers and be aware of all traffic rules.
The police posted a hilarious meme on Twitter.
‘Violate traffic rules...Driving licence ka Balidaan Dena Hoga’, the post read.
The sign of a good driver is the ability to be aware of all traffic rules. Stay alert, stay safe or else you might sacrifice your driving license.

A warning was given to the netizens requesting them to be alert and safe. They warned them about confiscating their licence if traffic rules weren’t followed.
Punjab Police captioned the post, saying: “The sign of a good driver is the ability to be aware of all traffic rules. Stay alert, stay safe or else you might sacrifice your driving license”.
The funny meme had a Netflix show reference: ‘Sacred Games 2’.
‘Sacred Games 2’ will air on August 15. The action drama features actors such as Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte among others. The new season will also feature actors such as Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey.
The post recieved mixed reactions:
— Ashutosh (@BenzeneSkull)What about zero traffic sense here in Ludhiana? I guess nobody seems interested to make the smart city actually a smart city.
— Nilesh Gupta (@29nileshgupta)
Good effort but u guys should aware people about traffic rules on ground first.
— Gurwinder singh (@Gurvvinder)

There should be no bar to BADDE BAAP ke bete and VIPs also. Police always does selective checking. If a policeman stands firm to his duty, he's harrassed by seniors. Honest policemen must be reflected in magazine and newspaper columns! There are very good cops in !
Traffic lights are a joke in Mohali. Green light just means that you can go buy beware. And red means , don't stop but accelerate. Pathetic public and pathetic enforcement of law.
