The Little Kingdom Nursery School celebrated Halloween at the school campus here on Friday. The school was beautifully decorated for the celebrations. Children and teachers were dressed up in spooky costumes to do justice to the theme.
Halloween is an annual festival celebrated each year on October 31. It originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts.
The celebration at the school was carried out with the distribution of cakes and chocolates to the children. The kids had fun playing with each other dressed up in the school lawns. The idea of trick or treat was also put into play where the children asked the teacher in-charge for candies to which they warmly agreed. School Principal Shuchita Grover thanked children for being a part of the celebration.
