NPTEL launches 24 online certification courses

The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), an MHRD, Government of India initiative, is launching 24 online certification courses covering disciplines such as Computer Science, Aerospace, Electrical, Metallurgical engineering and Management Sciences from July 1, 2015. The complete list of courses is available on the website https://onlinecourses.nptel.ac.inwhere one can also enroll for these courses.

Prof. Andrew Thangaraj, NPTEL coordinator, IIT, Madras said, “Enrollment for these courses is free and anyone can learn and benefit from the resources available. Certification is optional and the certificate exam for these courses is scheduled to be held in September and November 2015.”

NPTEL is attempting to connect better with colleges through the establishment of NPTEL study centres.

NPTEL offers online certification courses (NOC) through its portal https://onlinecourses.nptel.ac.in/ (powered by Google).
