The CIA staff of the police arrested a man along with two quintal of poppy husk from his house on Sunday.
Inspector Rashpal Singh, in-charge, CIA, said that the accused had been identified as Devinder Singh of Ramkhara village, 40 km from here. The police on a tip off raided the house of Devinder Singh and seized two quintal of poppy husk packed in gunny bags. The accused was involved in the sale of drug material for the past some months, he added. The Patti Sadar police have registered a case under Sections 15, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act.
