One booked for uploading vulgar pics of woman

The city police has booked an unidentified person for uploading vulgar photographs of a woman on a social networking website. The woman used to chat with the person on Facebook.
In her statement at the D Division police station, the woman stated that three or four days back, she had accepted a friend request of an unknown person on Facebook. After chatting with him, she found that the ID was fake and she removed him from her friends list. The woman stated that as soon as she did that, the accused uploaded her morphed vulgar pictures. Thereafter, the accused started threatening her that if she blocked him, he will upload her pictures on social networking sites.
On the complaint of the woman, the D Division police station has registered a case under Sections 419/420/506 of the IPC and 66-D IT Act against an unidentified person. Yadvinder Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Central) said, “We are investigating the matter. We will take help of the cyber cell to indemnify the accused.”
