Pak violates truce in Poonch, Rajouri

RAJOURI: The Pakistan army violated truce agreement thrice during the past 24 hours in Poonch and Rajouri districts.



RAJOURI: The Pakistan army violated truce agreement thrice during the past 24 hours in Poonch and Rajouri districts. On Thursday late evening, the Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked mortar shelling on the Indian Army's forward locations in the Nowshera sector in Rajouri district. At about 8 am on Friday, the Pakistan army resorted to ceasefire violation in the Qasba, Kirni and Saral areas in the Poonch sector. The ceasefire violation continued till 8.30 am, but no loss or injury was reported from any area. Again at 11.40 am, the Pakistan army resorted to heavy shelling on forward locations and on civilians in the same area. OC
