Ludhiana, May 1
A Patanjali store opened near MBD Mall on Ferozepur Road today. The store was inaugurated by Ludhiana West MLA Bharat Bhushan Ashu. It will cater to the demand of kitchen goodies, including cornflakes, biscuits, packaged food and medicines. Patanjali stores are proving useful as more and more people are increasingly adopting yoga and ayurvedic products.
The USP of the store is that it has been designed by Delhi- based designers Driganksha Singh and Vinayak Khanna in an Indian village style using fragrant wood and other indigenous eco-friendly materials.
Doors, cupboards and various props used throughout the store ooze old-India regal persona evoking ambience of a village Haat. There is also a plan to add a herbal garden and café to the store in the near future. Speaking on the occasion, Ashu said he was impressed by the simplicity and authenticity of the design. Among others present on the occasion include councillors and city residents.
