AI-based online learning programmes

Education services arm of VFS Global, VFS Edu Support Services Pvt. Ltd., has partnered  with UK-based Edtech Oxademy Technologies and its subsidiary Oxademy Business School to form the new global digital learning platform ‘VFS-Oxademy’.

VFS-Oxademy will offer a knowledge-driven artificial intelligence (AI) cloud infrastructure called OX360 which identifies each learner's strengths and weaknesses and generates learning paths based on individual learner’s behaviour, personalising the learning to each individual student. 

VFS-Oxademy will provide internationally-accredited post-graduate and executive education programmes in full online and ‘blended’ modes – combining online with classroom learning. 

Students can log on to these universally accessible programmes that will be affiliated with top universities in the UK and US, and benefit from expert tutelage of prominent alumni networks from across the globe.

Some of the key programmes include Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Master’s in Strategic Leadership (MSL), Masters of Science in Organisation Leadership (MSOL), Global Leadership Programme (GLP), Authentic Leadership Development (ALD), Programme for Leadership Development (PLD) and Advanced Management Programme (AMP).

PG certificate in General Management 

Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur, has joined hands with Xavier Institute of Management and Research [XIMR], Mumbai to offer Postgraduate Certificate in General Management (PGCGM) for Working Executives. 

The programme will commence in October 2017 with an induction at XLRI, Jamshedpur while the rest of the classes will be held during the weekends at XIMR, St. Xavier’s College Campus in Mumbai.

Commenting on the new programme, Prof. Prantik Ray, the Programme Coordinator at XLRI Jamshedpur said, “The course will allow executives to pursue a rigorous schedule that helps them leverage classroom learning to their professional roles. Participants will develop a holistic General Management and Business Leadership perspective.”

Registration for the PGCGM Programme 2017-18 is open from July 1 till August 31, 2017.

The programme is of 11 months duration with four terms. It comprises 15 compulsory courses and a dissertation spread over the four terms. The fee will be Rs. 4 lakh + Tax per candidate. Working Executives with minimum two years of experience as well as entrepreneurs owning their own business for past two years having completed graduation from a recognised university in any discipline are eligible to apply to the course.
