Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship
London Metropolitan University is inviting applications for Mahatma Gandhi scholarship programme. The scholarship supports one student from India and covers the tuition fees for a master’s programme at the university. The scholarships will be awarded on on the basis of excellent academic performance in India.
Eligibility: Applicants must:
have an unconditional offer to study at London Met on one of London Met’s Master’s courses.
- Have 80 per cent or above in Class X.
- Have 80 per cent or above in Class XII.
- Have a First Class Honours Bachelor’s degree from a good Indian university.
- Have an overall IELTS score of 7.5 with a minimum of 7.0 in each component or SELT equivalent.
- Be a national of India.
Details: Scholarship covers the tuition fees for master’s programme .

V.V. Giri Scholarships
University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland, is offering four full scholarships in recognition of V. V. Giri, the fourth President of India, who studied law in UCD from 1913 to 1916. Established in 1854 UCD is Ireland’s largest and most international university. These scholarships are awarded on application to the top Indian students applying for UG and PGe courses.

Health research fellowships
Department of Health Research (DHR) has launched a scheme to provide advanced training to medical and health research personnel in India and abroad in cutting edge research areas concerning medicine and health to create trained human resource forcarrying out research activities with main goal of improving patient management and public health in the country. This scheme has following components:
- Short Term Fellowships for 1-3 months from regular faculty (In India and Abroad, Age: upto 55 years)
- Long Term Fellowships for 6-12 months from regular faculty (In India and Abroad, Age: upto 45 years)
- Programme specifically for Women who have had a break in their career
- Scholarships /fellowships to young scientists (medical /non-medical students) in newer areas.
- Programme to encourage health research personnel [Non-resident Indian (NRI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)] serving abroad, to come back to India for undertaking research in identified areas.
- Support to Indian Institutes for imparting training in identified areas to the Faculty of Medical Colleges/ Research Institutes
