Military Nursing Service

Vacancies have been announced for female candidates for admission to 4 years BSc. (Nursing) Course commencing in 2020 at Colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services. Candidates will be awarded admission in Colleges of Nursing based on the merit cum choice, subject to medical fitness and the vacancies in each College. Upon successful completion of nursing training (4years), the candidates will be granted Permanent/Short Service Commission in the Military Nursing Service.

Total Number of Seats/ Vacancies: 220 (Pune 40, Kolkata 30, INHS Asvini 40, New Delhi 30,  Lucknow 40, Bangalore 40)

Eligibility: Female candidates who are unmarried/divorced/legally separated/ widow without encumbrances, Nationality - Citizen of India, Date of Birth - Born between 01 Oct 1995 and 30 Sep 2003 (both days inclusive)

Physical standards

Minimum height required for entry into Armed Forces for female candidates is 152 cm. Gorkhas and candidates belonging to North Eastern region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon will be accepted with a minimum height of 148 cm. Selection Process: Eligible applicants will be called for an objective type Online Computer Based Examination of 90 minutes duration likely to be held in Apr 2020, covering General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Intelligence. On the basis of merit of Online Computer Based Examination, candidates will be called for interview during May 2020. Final selection will be based on the combined merit of Online Computer Based Examination & Interview. Merit listed candidates of Online Computer Based Examination will appear for interview & medical examination at selected centres.

NTPC Engineering Executive Trainees

National Thermal Power Corporation is looking for young Engineering Graduates with brilliant academic record in the field of Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Instrumentation as Executive Trainees-2020.

Vacancies: Although the Official Notice doesn't mention any number, but from the past record, it is estimated that likely number is around 800.

Salary: The pay scale is 60,000 to 1,80,000 in Executive Grade E2. With a basic pay of 60,000, the Gross Pay per month in the beginning is around 1,30,000

Selection Process: Step 1 :  All interested and eligible candidates are required to appear for GATE-2020. Candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process based on the GATE-2020 performance and the requirement. Detailed information regarding GATE-2020 is available on the website.

Step 2 :  Candidates need to apply online for the post of ET-2020 after getting their GATE-2020 Registration Number/Id by visiting ntpccareers.net. The Online application process will commence from 10.01.2020.

Fees: Candidates belonging to General and OBC categories will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs.150/-, either through online or offline mode. SC, ST, PwBD, XSM and Departmental candidates are exempted from paying the registration fee. 

Deadline: The last date of online registration at NTPC website is January 31, 2020.

CBSE Recruitment 

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) requires eligible Indian citizens for direct recruitment of Group A and Group C vacancies on All India Competitive Examination basis. CBSE has released a recruitment notification November 15, 2019. 

Vacancies: 357 

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree qualification for Junior Accountant posts, Master's Degree, B.E./ B.Tech (IT)/ M.SC. (IT)/ MCA, Matric with 12th class pass for Junior Assistant posts.

Examination Fee:  Rs 1500 for each post for Group A posts; Rs 800 for each post for Group B & C posts. The fee was exempted for SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Women and Regular CBSE Employees. The fee should made through online payment gateway using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

Selection Process: Computer Based Test, Skill Test, Interview.

How to apply: Eligible candidates should fill and submit online through cdn digialm (CBSE) online portal. The closing date for submission of online applications is 16/12/2019 up to 11:59 PM.
