Udacity, the Silicon Valley-based ed-tech platform, has expanded its portfolio consisting of various IT courses with the launch of its C++ and Data Structures & Algorithms Nanodegree programmes for Indian students.

The two new programmes will enable interested individuals to gain and enhance their basic computer science skills that are in demand the world over in the wake of the technological revolution.

Created by David Silver, Head of School of Autonomous Technologies at Udacity, the C++ Nanodegree Programme is aimed at creating a strong foundation of the programming language, which is being used to code self-driving cars, robotics and other complex autonomous and AI software systems.

Like C++, Data Structures & Algorithms too forms a fundamental and critical component of Data Science which has applications in fields like web development, software engineering, and all AI-related technologies.

The Data Structures & Algorithms Nanodegree will train the students in the evaluation and assessment techniques required while working with different data structures and algorithms for any open-ended problem, and enabling them in coming up with relevant and innovative solutions.

This three-month-long programme will consist of four courses: Fundamentals, Data Structures, Basic Algorithms, and Advanced Algorithms. During the course of this programme, students will get to learn from field experts, engage with the student community, work on over 100 practice problems and get feedback on the same. By the end of this course, students will possess necessary digital skills required to ace all software engineering job interviews.

The two new nanodegrees will equip interested individuals with necessary computer science skills to become job-ready for highly-paid, in-demand job roles.  — TNS
