Applications are invited for admission to the regular (full-time) Joint PhD programme offered jointly by TERI University and Deakin University. This Joint PhD program is a multi-disciplinary course offered with the aim to promote high quality doctoral research on themes relating to sustainable development in the areas of food and energy security, water science and governance, Nano-biotechnology and sustainable cities. The programme is structured to provide opportunity for students to undertake taught courses as well as acquire enhanced practical experience in order to become leading researchers, academicians and practitioners at par with global benchmarks.

Eligibility: Applicants must have a PG degree from a recognised leading University or BTech. degree from a recognised leading university with aggregate percentage above 70%.
-Preference given to UGC/NET/GATE Qualified
Proficiency in English language is essential, and would be judged on the basis of TOEFL / IELTS scores.

Details: Selected scholars will be based at TERI University and will also get an opportunity for international exposure by visiting Deakin University, Australia during their PhD. On successful completion of the programme, scholars will receive two separate testamours from TERI University and Deakin University.
