SERB Core Research Grant
Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), is providing research grants for financially strengthening emerging scientists and active researchers in the field of science and engineering. Selected scholars can avail research grants for scientific projects spanning up to three years.
Eligibility: Active Indian research scholars with regular academic/research position in a recognised academic institution or R & D institution in India (private or government) may apply for this grant. All applicants should have secured a PhD degree in science, mathematics, engineering or MD/ MS/ MDS/ MVSc degree for application.
Details: Financial support to individual researcher or group of researchers for equipment, manpower, consumables, travel and contingency expenses for three years will be provided to selected scholars.

MEXT scholarships for college of technology students
The Government of Japan invites Indian students to pursue graduate studies at premier institutions in Japan with scholarships for academic expenses. The scholarship aims at providing Indian students with financial support to pursue technical education in Japan and enhance cross border academic relations.
Eligibility: Indian students born after April 1995, who have cleared their Class XII examinations and are applying for admission to technical courses of graduation at recognised Japanese institutions may apply for this scholarship.
Details: Selected scholars will be awarded with a monthly allowance of JPY 117,000 along with regional allowance worth up to JPY 3,000. They would also be provided financial support for travelling expenses and airfare (to-and-fro) for Japan to India

Raman Kant Munjal scholarship
Raman Kant Munjal Foundation is providing scholarships to Class XII pass students for pursuing graduate studies and vocational courses. The scholarship will be awarded as yearly financial aid based on the financial and academic abilities of the students for completing their post-matric studies.
Eligibility: Indian students not more than 19 years of age (as on May 31, 2019) with a family income below Rs 6 lakh per annum may apply for this scholarship. Each applicant should have passed Class XII with at least 65 per cent marks in Class X and XII (for degree courses) or 80 per cent for diploma courses
Details: Selected scholars will be provided a total scholarship upto Rs 2.7 lakh per year for degree courses or Rs 50,000 total for diploma courses

Indo-US Fellowship for Women in STEMM (WISTEMM)
The Department of Science and Technology (DST), GOI is inviting Indian women pursuing higher education in STEM fields for participating in a 3-6 months fellowship in USA, while availing monthly stipends and research grants. The scholarship aims to promote scientific intellect and research opportunities among the female community of both nations
Eligibility: Women applicants with PhD in basic sciences, engineering or technology, including agricultural and medical sciences aged between 27 and 45 years may apply for this fellowship.
Details: Selected fellows will be awarded a monthly stipend of $3,000, health insurance cover of $1,000, airfare compensation of $2,500, research contingency grant of $1,000 and even a conference attendance allowance of $1,200.
